I’m a proud Juneau local for over 35 years. Together with my family, I’ve embraced Alaska’s beauty and outdoor adventures. From hiking marathon-length trails with my husband to fishing and camping with my grandkids, my lifestyle is intertwined with the incredible nature Alaska has to offer. Now I’m on a mission to share that same love of nature with you through unforgettable experiences. Segway and eBike tours with iRide Alaska are an opportunity for couples, families, and friend groups to explore nature in an adventurous way while creating lifelong memories. James is a born & raised Juneau local. He works hard to keep the segways & eBikes operating at full capacity. He loves fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
Maddie Cordle
Operations Manager
Born and raised in Juneau, Maddie keeps iRide running form day to day. In her spare time she loves to read, practice korean, and spend time with her nephews.

Carli has been leading tours with iRide for 4 years! Originally from Utah, Carli is one of our most experienced guides and is always excited to meet guests from new parts of the world.

Serena loves Juneau, which she says is similar to her college town in Bellingham, Washington. She loves to run, hike, watch movies, and go on adventures.

Phoenix grew up in Juneau and is always willing to go on an adventure. He’s been leading tours with iRide for 3 years and is our resident eBike tour guide.

Dan may be from Texas, but he loves mountains to much to stay there. When he’s not doing photography or videography, he’s guiding tours and hiking mountains.

Alta is one of the funniest guides around. By day she’s a top-tier segway tour guide, and by night she’s a devoted wife and master puzzle-solver.

Our Equipment
Segway® PT
The Segway® PT (Personal Transporter) is our classic segway, used for calmer routes and smooth excursions. The Segway® PT is the hero of our Coastal Rainforest Segway Tour, where it rolls along for hours and zooms along the oceanside at over 12 miles per hour. A perfect opportunity for guests who want an enjoyable first ride or a tranquil segway experience in nature, guests ages 10 to 75 can comfortable enjoy a coastal segway experience on the Segway® PT.
Segway® X2
The Segway® X2 is an off-road powerhouse used for gravel trails and adventurous terrain. This mechanical marvel uses thick, low-pressure balloon tires engineered for multi-terrain usage. On our Alpine Segway Adventure, the X2 tackles hills and cross-country ski trails with ease while providing a comfortable ride for the guest. A perfect opportunity for guests who want an action-filled ride or an advanced segway tour, guests ages 14 to 72 can comfortable enjoy exploring our Alaskan mountains on the Segway® X2.
Giant™ eBikes
The workhorse of our fleet, our Giant™ eBikes power up to provide safe and enjoyable rides for the majority of our guests. Most riders love the seemless transition from regular bikes to these pedal-assist eBikes. While simple in design, these mighty bikes carry thousands of guests each year on small-group rainforest excursions. They glide perfectly over the paved tour path we explore, taking us from glacier viewpoints to favorite local beaches. This bike is perfect for first-time eBike riders as well as experienced bikers. Guests ages 12 to 78 can comfortable enjoy a smooth electric boost to help them explore Alaska on the Rainforest eBike tour.
Velotric™ eBikes
Velotric™ eBikes are new to our fleet, and they provide a powerful electric option for guests of all fitness levels! These step-through bikes, similar in design to beach cruisers, are perfect for shorter riders or those with limited hip mobility. With a large range of electric boost levels and a user-friendly interface, the Velotric™ eBikes are taking our Rainforest eBike Adventure to new heights.
